Abstract
The structure of Fuel Cell Electrode was studied in three dimension (3D) by Transmission Electron Microtomography (TEMT) that allows us to obtain 3D images of nanometer scale morphologies. The TEMT 3D pictures of the Fuel Cell Electrode indicated that PtRu particles were observed only at the surface of the carbon and a dispersion form was uniform. The spherical shapes of PtRu particles and carbon were confirmed. From statistics analysis using 3D reconstruction image, we evaluated an average diameter of PtRu particles to be 2.6nm.
