Abstract

The normalized angular magnetoresistance (NAMR) of current-perpendicular-to the-plane (CPP) spin valves was computed using the circuit theory for non-collinear magnetoelectronics. In this model, the spin accumulation in the ferromagnetic (F-C) node was taken to be parallel to the magnetization of the ferromagnet. The results showed that the NAMR for the CPP spin valve depends on the spin accumulation in the ferromagnetic layer.
