Abstract

Thermal agitation of magnetization and recording performance of Co(B)/Pd superlattice perpendicular recording media were discussed. It was studied as a function of Co or CoB layer thickness when the total superlattice thickness is 10∼14 nm. Results showed that the maximum values are at around the thickness of 0.2∼0.3 nm.
