Abstract

The magnetization reversal dynamics in perpendicular recording media were studied using a model based on the Landau-Lifshitz-Gilbert (LLG) equation. By assigning a discrete value of temperature to each individual cell in the model, the recording process in the magneto-optic media was successfully simulated.
