Abstract
The dense calcium-doped lanthanum chromites were prepared by liquid mixing method as a SOFC interconnector. A slight, nominal deficit of chromium drastically enhanced sinterability of lanthanum chromite even in air. These samples consisted of perovskite phase and CaO (or La2O3). The thermal expansion coefficients of the chromium deficient samples were found to increase with calcium content, from 8.56×10-6K-1 to 10.84×10-6K-1.
