Abstract
Transmission Electron Microtomography (TEMT) is a powerful technique for three-dimensional (3D) structural analysis in nanometer scale. However, in some cases, nano-structures are not reconstructed due to their particular arrangement with respect to the tilt axis. In the present study, we used additional tilt axis, which was almost perpendicular to the original tilt axis, in order to reproduce all cylindrical microdomains in a block copolymer as-cast film. It was demonstrated that such dual-axis electron tomography is quite effective to reconstruct anisotropic microdomains, e.g. cylinder and lamellar structures in 3D.
