Abstract

We experimentally demonstrate highly sensitive te-rahertz (THz) detection on epitaxial graphene-channel field effect transistor (EG-FET). Throughout the experimentally obtained bias-voltage dependences of the photoresponse, we identify not only the conventional photothermoelectric and plasmonic effects but also the existence of a new rectification mechanism.
