Abstract

Touch feelings and tactile sense play very important role in our daily life. However, the mechanism has not clarified yet. In this chapter, the receptor in human skin and haptics that is motion of hand/finger will be introduced. And the sensory experiments and measurement were carried out in order to clarify the mechanism of rough and soft feelings which are fundamental touch feelings and the developed sensor for measuring tactile sensation for fabrics and the palpation sensor for measuring prostatic glands will be introduced.
