Abstract

In order to reveal the realistic picture of an aqueous electrolyte solution at a solid/liquid interface, it is necessary to understand the so-called 'structuring of water' at the interfacial regions and around the solvated ions. In this paper, some suggestive topics from this point of view are introduced which include the preliminary results obtained by molecular simulations.
