    Abstract

Partially-stabilized zirconia is given attention for structural ceramics because of its high strength and high resistance to fracture caused by the transformation-induced toughening. A series of tests was conducted to investigate the sintering and thermal stability of ceria-doped tetragonal ZrO//2 polycrystals by low temperature annealing using coprecipitated fine grain ceria-doped zirconia powders.
