title = "Transport property measurement of practical coated conductor with copper stabilizer",
abstract = "The transport properties of a 5-mm-wide practical PLD-GdBa 2Cu3Oy (GdBCO) coated conductor, which has a 100 μm thickness copper stabilizer, was evaluated. Critical currents were measured up to 600 A in magnetic fields (parallel and perpendicular to the conductor surface) up to 12 T and in a temperature range of 4.2 to 85 K. The temperature dependence of n-value and the power law decay of Jc in low field were evaluated. Ic anisotropy and pinning properties were also discussed. The results suggest that random pinning dominates the pinning mechanism of the practical GdBCO coated conductor.",
