Abstract

C60q+ (q = 20-60) firstly ejects fast atomic cations Cz+ (z ≥ 1) via Coulomb explosions on a 10 fs timescale. Thermal evaporations of slow atomic and molecular fragments subsequently occur in 100-1000 fs.
