Abstract

Recent progress is presented on ultrahigh-speed and high spectral-efficiency (SE) TDM transmission using non-coherent and coherent Nyquist pulses, including a single-channel 5.12-Tbit/s, 300-km DQPSK transmission and 3.84-Tbit/s, 150-km 64-QAM transmission with 6.4-bit/s/Hz SE.
