Ultrahigh-speed distortion-free transmission using all-optical time-domain fourier transformation

Abstract

A technique for achieving an ideal distortion-free transmission using all-optical time-domain Fourier transformation is proposed. This method uses cross-phase modulation with a parabolic pulse that is generated by a dispersion-decreasing fiber with normal group-velocity dispersion.
