Abstract

Acoustic properties of κ-(BEDT-TTF)2Cu(NCS)2, Y1-XPrXBa2Cu3Oy and CeRu2 have been investigated. The organic superconductor κ-(BEDT-TTF)2Cu(NCS)2, shows a remarkable softening in the magnetic field. Elastic hardening has been observed in Y1-XPrXBa2Cu3Oy and CeRu2. The elastic anomalies in the magnetic field have been considered based on the various couplings between the vortices and ultrasonic wave.
