Abstract

Viscoelastic properties of Styrene-Butadiene diblock copolymer melts with an order-order transition (Cylinder to Gyroid) were investigated and the microphase separated structures were observed by 3D-TEM. TOOT (order-order transition temperature) is around 160°C. Gyroid-forming sample shows regular gyroid structure after annealing at T=TOOT and T=TOOT +40, and a clear plateau appears in G (Gcubic). In this study, the correlation between structural parameter and Gcubic is discussed based on 3D-TEM observation. As a result, the number of molecules in interface is thought to be the factor that contributes to Gcubic according to the mean field consideration.
