Abstract

Wear has been recognized as meaning the phenomenon of material removal from a surface due to interaction with a mating surface. Almost all machines lose their durability and reliability due to wear, and the possibilities of new advanced machines are reduced because of wear problems. Therefore, wear control has become a strong need for the advanced and reliable technology of the future.
