Abstract

We have performed a γ spectroscopy experiment in Λ11B using a germanium detector array, Hyperball. In this experiment, we have observed six γ transitions from Λ11B. Among these transitions, the γ ray peak at 1482 keV is identified as E2 (1/2+ → 5/2+). The result of this experiment indicates that the level structure seems quite different from a theoretical prediction based on the results of the previous experiments.
