N2 - A 1.6 Tbit/s/ch single-carrier transmission of 32 QAM coherent pulses over 150 km was demonstrated using an RZ-CW conversion technique and frequency-domain equalization (FDE). A large improvement in the bit-error-rate characteristics was achieved with FDE.
