N2 - In a previous paper (part 1), the authors proposed a new non-linear vibration equation, the 'Spanworm equation', for stepping motor machine system analysis. It is pointed out in this paper that the proposed Spanworm equation can be applied quantitatively to the high speed microstepping area. Thus the CAD software system based on this Spanworm equation, which reflects a mechanical configuration of the stepping motor machine system, can be applied to a wide area of feedforward applications, to avoid conventional try and cut procedures.
