N2 - We have investigated the dynamics of cardiovascular variables during physiological states such as sleep and wakefulness. The relationships among multivariate cardiovascular dynamics are obtained in terms of a matrix of Kullback-Leibler divergence between variables. The dynamics during slow wave sleep is found to be markedly consistent through records. The dynamics during slow wave sleep is suggested to be a basis of characterization of the autonomic regulations of cardiovascular system.
