N2 - Compact subcapsules were developed for in-reactor measurements of electrical properties of ceramic insulators for fusion applications. The performance of the subcapsules was tested in a 60Co γ-ray irradiation cell and they were irradiated in a fission reactor, JMTR, for up to four irradiation cycles. We observed successfully the electrical conductivity changes of α-alumina and silicon nitride under reactor irradiation conditions with these subcapsules.
