title = "Expression of non-collagenous bone proteins in cultured epithelial rests of Malassez",
abstract = "The expressions of bone sialoprotein, osteopontin, osteocalcin and alkaline phosphatase were analyzed by immunostaining the Azo-dye method and in situ hybridization in cultured epithelial rests of Malassez. Bone sialoprotein, osteopontin, osteocalcin and alkaline phosphatase as well as their mRNAs were abundant in cultured epithelial rests of Malassez, while neither the proteins nor their mRNAs were detected in human gingival epithelial cells as a control.",
