N2 - In the study, an amperometric LSI-based device containing 400 sensors with a 250-μm pitch was applied for electrochemical imaging of respiratory activity of three-dimensional (3D) cultured osteosarcoma cells as a bone model. The electrochemical imaging is based on detection of oxygen reduction currents. The electrochemical images showed that the oxygen reduction currents decreased near the cell aggregates, indicating that the imaging was successfully applied for evaluation of respiration activity.
