abstract = "Three new acylphloroglucinols, baeckenones A-C (1-3), were isolated from the chloroform extract of the leaves of Baeckea frutescens together with three known compounds 4-6. The structures of the isolated compounds were determined using extensive spectroscopic analyses including IR, NMR, and HRMS. Baeckenone B (2) exhibited a moderate antibacterial activity against Bacillus subtilis with an MIC value of 40 μM.",
