title = "Transmission Characteristics of Germanium Thin-Film-Coated Metallic Hollow Waveguides for High-Powered CO2 Laser Light",
abstract = "Transmission properties of germanium-coated nickel and silver hollow waveguides were fully analyzed experimentally. Transmission losses of 0.05 dB/m have been attained for waveguides with a 1.5 mm diameter and around 500 W of CW C02 laser light have been successfully transmitted through a straight germanium-coated silver waveguide.",
