SAR sensor is powerful at all weather condition and recently new satellites were launched such as ALOS/PALSAR , TerrraSAR-X and RADARSAT-2. They have high resolution and full polarimetory ability. We study detection of rice crop at paddy field in Japan using manly RADARSAT-2 data. The area of rice crop at paddy field is well extracted by RADARSAT-2 data.",
