N2 - The recording field of a narrow-track single-pole (SPT) was studied using 3D eddy current transient finite element analysis. Recording field time variations for various models were also studied. The results show that a large head field strength reaching Bs of head pole at track width of 100 nm and a high frequency response of 2 GHz.
